Author Presentations

Would you like an opportunity to present your books to an audience and offer them for sale?

We’re planning to run regular monthly sessions, probably Thursday evenings in Glossop Labour Club, each devoted to ONE author. If you think you’d like to participate, please contact us at hello@glossopbookfest.co.uk.

We’ll ask for a small donation (£5) towards the cost of room hire – we choose the Labour Club because hire costs are fairly low. (The BookFest has no political affiliations!)

Local historian and author Gwyneth Francis will be joining us to talk about her new book called “Rebels’ Way”, which is based on the Derbyshire uprising of 1817, known as the Pentrich Rising.
